Corona: sick leave by phone again!
sick leave since mid -March after consultation with the doctor . extended until May 31, 2020 This was decided by the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) on May 14, 2020.

For a limited period from October 19, 2020 until December 31, 2020, patients who suffer from slight respiratory diseases can get sick leave for up to seven calendar days. The resident doctors must personally convince themselves of the patient's condition with a detailed telephone survey. So patients do not personally if they need an incapacity for work (AU). You will receive an AU a maximum of one week extended once in the event of ongoing illness .
Only with mild illnesses
The exceptional rule only applies to colds or flu infections.
Anyone who contact with a person in which the new Coronavirus has been detected or had been in an area with Covid 19 cases will not a telephone sick leave . These persons should contact the practice by telephone with typical COVID-19 symptoms and, if the symptoms of infections of the upper respiratory tracts, contact the practice before visiting a doctor.
