Aderhold advises Slovak wagonbauer Tatravagónka from Poprad and its connected German companies when buying insolvent WBN Waggonbau Niesky GmbH.

The contracts for the acquisition of all assets from WBN Waggonbau Niesky GmbH i. I. including the associated operating property from the also insolvent WBN Zwischenholding GmbH are signed and certified. Only the fusion control approval by the antitrust authorities, which is expected to be available in a few months, is still to be seen before the company can continue.

In the future, WBN Waggonbau Niesky GmbH i. I. Some of the group of companies around Tatravagónka AS, which together with their connected German companies in the bidding process for the acquisition of WBN Waggonbau Niesky GmbH i. I. enforced.

Tatravagónka AS itself looks back on almost 100 years of history in the production of freight cars. During this time, more than 130,000 freight cars were produced, which corresponds to a train length of approx. 6,500 km. There are also almost 400,000 bogies. The company is the founder of the company, the Halath family, which in 1922 received an order to repair the freight cars for the Czechoslovak railways. The actual production of freight cars began in 1946.

Today Tatravagónka is a leading company in European freight wagon production not least because of its strong design and development group. The Tatravagónka sub-Group generates sales of more than 300 million euros. The average annual production is 3,000 freight wagons and 7,500 bogies for railway cars.

Aderhold was able to fall back on his extensive experience in acquiring insolvent companies.
