Minimum wage also for on -call services
The TVöD-V regulates that on-call services have to be performed in the emergency services, which are only half credited as a collective work. A paramedics complained against his employer because he believed that this regulation of the TVöD violated the minimum wage law (Milog) and was therefore ineffective. He complained about additional remuneration for the on -call services. According to the TVöD, the employee was obliged to pay a maximum of 48 hours a week, including on -call services. His salary was 2,680.31 euros gross per month. On the basis of 48 hours per week, he achieved an average hourly fee of more than 8.50 euros gross.
