Testament workshop: (ver) heirs - but right!
Mors Certa, Hora Incerta: Death is certain, the hour is uncertain. - A sentence that not only adorns the large town hall clock of the city of Leipzig, but is also an irrefutable truth of all of our lives. But even though death comes out of life every day and we could divorce at any moment, a large part of the population displaces the thought of one's own death in the hereafter: more than 60% of Germans have no will; Up to 40% no idea how you could write one. The complexity of the inheritance is increasing: Real estate and jewelry are increasingly being inherited, and less and less classic financial assets.
This causes significant problems: Who inherits what in the event of death? What to do if, in the absence of a will, everyone inherits in equal parts, one lives in the family house, but the others want to sell it? Should the deceased grandmother jewelry be able to be spelled if the testator has fought against it throughout his life? Questions that are increasingly not only caused by families, but also relatives: According to an investigation from 2018, every fifth inheritance is already causing disputes and arguments within the family. New models of living together such as patchwork families and the community of responsibility announced by the traffic light government tighten the testamentary pressure on possible testators. But how can I write my will waterproof and legally clean; How to protect my family from conflicts after my death? What do you have to consider when inheritance and how can I make provisions for tomorrow as best as possible?
