On September 13, 2022, the Federal Labor Court ruled that the entire working time of employees must be recorded. With his draft law, regulations for recording working hours are to be created in the Working Hours Act and the Youth Labor Protection Act.
The Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs North Rhine -Westphalia has published a decree for occupational safety administration on April 19, 2023 to implement the Working Hours Act and the implementation of the Federal Labor Court's decision. This decree is to be implemented by the occupational safety administration in North Rhine -Westphalia.
