As an independent lawyer, he was Corporate Legal Advisor of Sovello AG from 2007 to 2012 and can fall back on many years of experience in processing the bankruptcy of Philipp Holzmann AG. Friedrich Vosberg also has a degree from the University of Music and Theater in Leipzig as a graduate orchestra musician in the subject of violoncello. He is a member of the board of directors of the Diakonisches Werk Inner Mission Leipzig e. V. and the board of the Leipzig church district.
