Matthias Böhnstedt studied business administration at the Humboldt University in Berlin, the University of Mannheim and Depauw University in the USA and also worked as a teaching assistant for the latter. In 2007 he began his professional career at Deloitte, where he first worked in M&A consulting and later in the restructuring area.

Mr. Böhnstedt switched to the Aderhold management consultancy in mid -2014 and has been the managing director there since November 2015.
